Life here is simple yet intriguing. These five photos depict how I see the state of Vermont. The first photo represents the woods of Vermont and how beautiful and peaceful they are. Many people here like to hunt, camp, and hike in the woods. The second picture is of the main road that I live on, capturing a day in the life of a citizen of Vermont. Driving cars is our main method of transportation, but some people also walk, bike, or ride the bus. The third photo is an example of a neighborhood in Vermont, with houses lining the streets, showing a sense of community. There are many different kinds of neighborhoods in Vermont. Some people in Vermont do not have any neighbors at all. Their houses are surrounded by land, and sometimes have woods or a body of water nearby. The fourth photo shows one of many different hobbies and lifestyles that Vermont citizens partake in. The man has his own wood shop where he crafts lots of things from wood. My final picture is of a tall maple tree that is common in Vermont. Sometimes, people extract sap from the trees and turn it into maple syrup. Many people here use maple syrup on pancakes, waffles, and even ice cream. Maple syrup is one of the most exported products from Vermont. These images represent my state and how I picture Vermont.
